Walking through the wintery streets of Prague, cuddled up in a wooly jacket, cozy gloves and thick boots, we came across an Easter - yes, you read correctly, an Easter - market with all the different delicacies the Czech cuisine has to offer. Among others there is the Chimney Cake. It was chilly outside, so we didn´t mind that we had to wait a little longer
for our Chimney Cake since this meant that we could stand a little longer close to the fiery grill where the cakes were being prepared. The dish is very popular among tourists and thus a long queue formed behind us, people admiring the flames and handicraft of this woman. Finally, we held the Chimney Cake in our hands - it hadn´t been easy to decide between chocolate sauce, or no chocolate sauce - so we took on of each - and had our first taste of this mouthwatering sweet.
If you ever have the chance, go and try it out!
